Drawing directions!

Use only pencils and press down very lightly!

1.    Fold your paper in the middle (vertical).

2.    You will draw your “Mini-me” from bottom (feet) to top (top of head).

3.    At the horizontal line located at the bottom of your drawing paper, use an inch ruler to draw a line the length of your mini height along the center crease. Make a mark at the end (top of your head).

4.    Return to the horizontal line located at the bottom of your paper. Use the inch ruler to measure to the top of your mini legs. Make a mark there. You are marking all subsequent marks along the center line.

5.    At the top of your mini legs, measure to the top of your mini hips, then make a mark.

6.    At the mark (top of your mini hips), measure the height of your mini trunk, then make a mark.

7.    At the mark (top of your mini trunk), measure the height of your mini neck, then make a mark.

8.    At the mark (your mini neck), measure the height of  your mini face.

9.    Now you’re ready to start drawing some ovals for your face, neck, trunk, hips, legs (for feet, make some flat balloons).

10.     Use your mini measurements for width of face, shoulders, waist, hips.

11.     Use the center fold of your paper to center the measurements. Mark the measurements with ovals that are as wide as the mini measurement width and as high as the mini measurement height.
